Madison and Isak first locked eyes at a Friendsgiving party in November 2023. In the days and weeks that followed, they quickly fell in love. Isak proposed to Madison during a colorful sunset at Pebble Beach on New Year’s Eve in 2024 after he sang Elvis’ “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.” She is a Memphis girl, after all! In June, the couple moved from Vail, Colorado to Memphis, Tennessee where Isak is completing his degree at Rhodes College and Madison is teaching English and History at Memphis University School.
